Daily Grind Picks helps you choose home coffee and espresso gear without the guesswork. We start with coffee and espresso, and we’ll add more kitchen and everyday picks over time.

How we pick

We start with the question that matters. Most buying guides list “the best” machines. We sort picks by how you make coffee: how hands-on you want to be, whether you drink milk drinks, how much counter space you have, and your budget.
Specs come from the source. Product details come from each manufacturer’s own product pages (Breville, De’Longhi, CASABREWS, SharkNinja, OXO and others). We say where a spec comes from, and we note when we checked it.
We’re upfront about what we haven’t done. Our current guides are research- and spec-based. We have not tested these products hands-on. If we do test something ourselves in the future, we’ll say so clearly on that page.
No fake urgency. Prices change constantly, so we use rough price brackets (like “under $300”) instead of exact prices. Always check the current price before you buy.
